Farmers Market in Bishop's Stortford

A Farmers' Market consisting of initially 20 stalls selling hot and cold food and a range of crafts, will line North Street from 9.30am until 1.30pm every first Saturday of the month from 5th September as part of the town council's plans after it took over management of the market from East Herts District Council in June.

North Street will not be closed to traffic. The normal Saturday market will still take place in Market Square,Potter Street and South Street alongside the new monthly market.

Other initiatives instigated since the town council took over control of the market include opportunities for musicians to busk in Market Square.
