Have your say on Bishop's Stortford North development

A special meeting of East Herts Council’s development management committee on August 18th is set to decide the planning application submitted by Countryside Properties at Bishop’s Stortford North.

The application is for 329 new dwelling and a one-form-entry primary school as well as public spaces on land at Hazelend Roadand Farnham Roadknown as ASR (Area of Special Restraint) 5.  http://democracy.eastherts.gov.uk/moderngov/documents/s28378/3131501OP%20ST.pdf

The meeting is at 7pm on Tuesday, August 18, in the Cedar Room, Rhodes, Bishop’s Stortford, and is open to everyone to attend. A half hour has been allocated in total for people who wish to speak against the application, followed by a half hour for those who wish to speak in favour.

Subject to agreement from anyone registering to speak against the proposal, the council will share their emails with each other, allowing them to decide how to share out the half hour. The same process will be followed among those people wishing to speak in favour.

Anyone who wishes to speak for or against must register by noon on Monday August 17. Successful and unsuccessful speakers will be notified after the deadline has passed. 

At the same time as registering, you should supply a brief summary of points you wish to make – this is to avoid duplication and repetition.
